My Science Blogpost on Sound

Hi it’s Brutus here today I’m going to tell you about my first sound unit.

What are the four properties of sound?

  1. Sound can be reflected (It can bounce off  things)
  2. Sound can be absorbed (It does not bounce off something )
  3. Sound can be modified (e. G., Pitch and loudness)
  4. Sound is caused by vibration

What are vibrations? So Vibrations Is when something’s shake or moves back and forth really quickly. That’s a vibration. That motion creates sound.Have you ever thrown a rock into a really still pond? When the rock hits the water the Waves move outward From where the rock landed The ways start big and they get smaller as they move away. Those waves move just like sound vibrations.

So You might be wondering how does sound travel? or what is sound? So let me tell you about how sound moves and what is sound. Sound is a vibration which we can hear. Sound travels by vibrations.
