Today we started to learn about rocks and minerals we did this activity where we had a cookie with chocolate chips and we were excavating the cookies we had one here cookie and one soft cookie and we would take out the chocolate chips and pretend that the chocolate chips were diamonds and see how many we can get. For my soft cookie I found 5 on the top and 3 on the bottom in total I found 8 chocolate chips. For my hard cookie, I found 5 on the top and 7 on the bottom so in total I found 12 chocolate chips. we learned about 3 kinds of rocks sedimentary rocks, metamorphic rocks, and ingenous rocks.
